“The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1

Your perception will change when you seek His power, peace, and protection.

The Word of God liberates us from fear and leads us in righteous path.

“Your testimonies also are my delight; they are my counselors” (Psalm 119: 24).

God’s intentions cannot be frustrated by the plans of man. What He decides stands.

“My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all My purpose.” Isaiah 46:10

Jesus said, “Blessed are the peacemakers” (Matthew 5:9). Let go of grudges. “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you” (Ephesians 4:32).

“Do not worry about your life, as to what you will eat; nor for your body, as to what you are put on. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothing.” Luke 12:22-23

The key to an abundant life today requires only one shift in focus– from things that give temporary happiness to things that bring eternal joy in His kingdom.

“Stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel, without being frightened in anyway by those who oppose you.” Philippians 1:27-28

“Stand firm!” he wrote. It’s a charge Paul issued at least 30 times in his letters. It’s enough to keep standing, to persevere in faith, to remain in a spirit of unity.

Christ is the head of the family, the object of our devotion, and the One we fear. When we function in the fear of Christ, we have no other fears.

“But I want you to understand that Christ is the head of every man, and the man is the head of a woman, and God is the head of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:3

David is a picture of Jesus – One who loves you and me with our crippled feet and broken lives, simply because He wants to show us kindness. We are invited as sons and daughters to His table laden with bountiful grace and mercy.

“Do not fear, for I will surely show kindness to you for the sake of your father Jonathan.” 2 Samuel 9:7

With all our God-given diversity, He tells us to live in unity. As we stretch toward the goal of one heart and mind, we must accept each other.

“Therefore, accept one another, just as Christ also accepted us to the glory of God.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭15:7

God never told us to hide from Him. Instead He said to talk to Him, revealing all our needs and requests.

“The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18
